Suggested Wine Pairings

We asked a sampling of Minnesota vineyards for a suggested wine pairing for this dish, and were overwhelmed with the response! Here’s what they recommend:

Alexis Bailly Vineyard: Seyval Blanc or Country Red

Cannon River Winery: St. Pepin

Carlos Creek Winery: Chenin Blanc, Rose, or Apple Cranberry if you wanted to be unique, we have a deliciously tart/sweet wine called Apple Cranberry that would be fun to serve with your salad”

Crofut Family Winery & Vineyard: Frontenac Gris white wine It has enough body to hold up to the acids (ginger/soy/garlic) in lots of oriental dishes, or dishes using those as a base.”

Fieldstone Vineyards: New Moon White, BriannaBoth would work well, in my opinion, with a (Asian) ginger based sauce.” or Wine-ing Farmers Wife “If you prefer your wine sweeter.”

Forestedge Winery: Apple Wine

Goose Lake Farm and Winery: Cranberry Wine

Northern Vineyards: Prairie Rose pairs wonderfully with turkey and cranberry.”

Salem Glen Vineyard: an off dry Rose or perhaps a chardonnay a little heavier white that might stand up a little more to the ginger onions and peppers.”

Two Fools Vineyard: Two Fools Vineyard's Vidal Blanc

White Rabbit Vineyards and Winery: Ottertail White

WineHaven Winery and Vineyard: Riesling a medium-dry, fruit forward white wine that would pair really well.”
